Florence, OR

On the central Oregon coast, Florence is the location for the 2023 Feast of Tabernacles. This quaint and scenic city is nestled at the mouth of the Siuslaw River, where the Siuslaw National Forrest encounters the Pacific Ocean. Nature is at a premium here with many nearby trails, some meandering around the restored 19th-century Heceta Head Lighthouse and offering views of seabirds and migrating whales. The area’s vast Sea Lion Caves are home to Steller sea lions. And then, there is the ocean and beach.

Within the city itself, shops and galleries fill its Historic Old Town district. Recreation is just a hop, skip, and a jump across the river where the towering sand mounds of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area offer miles of fun in the sun.

This unique area, where forest meets ocean teeming with wonderful marine and bird life, not only provides a wonderful opportunity to see God's creation but is also the beautiful backdrop to our main focus of the Feast of Tabernacles—helping us to picture the soon coming millennium as we gather to expand our understanding about this amazing future and our part in it. The spiritual food we will feast on along with amazing opportunities to fellowship will ensure a wonderful Feast of Tabernacles for everyone!
