The 2023 Feast of Tabernacles will be held once again in Pigeon Forge, TN, a familiar location where many of God’s people have enjoyed keeping the Feast over the years. Pigeon Forge is located in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains and serves along with neighboring Gatlinburg to provide a gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is also one of the top family travel destinations in the country.
If you appreciate the outdoors, the Feast takes place during the most beautiful time of the year for this region. Fall colors will dominate the landscape with reds, yellows, and a variety of other autumn delights, while enjoying average daytime temperatures near 70 and mid 40’s at night. Within the over 800 square mile National Park, there are 900 miles of hiking trails to waterfalls, inspiring mountain top overlooks, giant Eastern Hemlock trees and old growth forests. For those who enjoy being in God’s creation, you will find this area has many inspiring opportunities.
Pigeon Forge also has a unique range of dining, with over 100 restaurants in the area, a huge variety of entertainment with music, theater, and dinner show venues, along with a huge selection of arts and crafts, shopping, miniature golf, go-karts, year-round snow tubing, caverns, and other attractions you may not find anywhere else. Access from one end of town to the other is possible by a divided 4 lane highway through the center. The conference center where services and some of the group activities will be held has free parking, and the large meeting space is easily accessible with no steps to enter the building.
