Rockport-Fulton, TX

Greetings! It is time to begin planning for the Feast of Tabernacles 2023! This webpage will help with Feast planning for this year in Rockport, TX. We have tried to include as much information as possible to make sure you are thoroughly equipped to have a great Feast, in addition, of course, to the spiritual preparation this year as we go from Holy Day to Holy Day.

Select the “Accommodations” tab up above to see negotiated housing. Information about planned group activities will be posted as the Feast approaches.

Rockport has long been a coastal get-away for Texans. Positioned on a peninsula, the town is named after a rock ledge underlying the shore. This charming small town has a long history of boating, fishing, and tourism. Vacationers can enjoy activities such as swimming, fishing, birdwatching, visiting wildlife refuges, and more. Rockport Beach is rated as a “Blue Wave” certified beach, meaning it meets national criteria for health, cleanliness, safety, and ecologically sound practices. For more info on Rockport’s blue wave beach status, see the link to the right. In addition to many outdoor adventures, Rockport offers a range of historic attractions and unique shops (see the links to the right). A note to dog owners: since Rockport beach is a bird sanctuary dogs are not allowed on the main part of the beach, but there is a designated beach area near the entrance where dogs are allowed.

To the right of the page are helpful links about recreation opportunities and places of interest. For those who would like to explore the surrounding areas, downtown Corpus Christi has many interesting attractions including the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington. Another area of interest is Mustang Island where there is much to see and do. To get there one can drive to Aransas Pass and from there take a ferry to the island.

We trust the quiet and peaceful coastal town of Rockport will help you picture the future millennial reign of Christ on earth and accentuate our worship of God together. We look forward to seeing you there for eight days of spiritually edifying messages, fellowship, and activities as we gather in a place where God has placed His name (Deuteronomy 14:23-24).
