Located in the heart of the North Island of New Zealand lies one of the most iconic sights in the country —Great Lake Taupo! This is the site where God’s people will observe the Feast in 2023. Many successful Feasts have been held here in the past and, when you see it for yourself, you will understand why! The town is big enough to offer a variety of supermarkets, restaurants, and activities but small enough to maintain its feel of a retreat away from the busier areas of the country. The waterfront is only a short walking distance from most locations in Taupo and offers a splendid lakefront walkway.
For those of you flying in from international areas, we recommend flying into Auckland, hiring a car at the airport, and then driving the approximately three-and-a-half-hour journey to Taupo. If you require any recommendations about car hire or need any other practical assistance, be sure to let us know. We’re here to help and make your time here in New Zealand as smooth and enjoyable as possible!
